About Me:
Hi, my name is Zach! I am a classically trained singer (BM vocal performance, BYU) who has made the crossover into musical theatre. I taught Music in charter schools for 6 years before shifting into teaching Language Arts and running our school's Theatre club. I am an educator, first and foremost, and I love coaching voice at Instrumental Music and music directing youth at The Phoenix Theatre Company. As a performer, I have had the most success when I work with a strong ensemble. Our quartet of singers for the original show Beyond Broadway has found success in Tucson and in the Valley. I have also been fortunate to perform in musicals at some incredible venues like The Phoenix Third Street Theatre and the Berger Center for the Performing Arts. In 2026 I booked the role of Willy Conklin in Ragtime at the Herberger Theater Center. In addition to teaching and performing, I serve my community as a local theatre critic for BroadwayWorld.
